Looks like there really is some respite for director Ameer. His debut flick as hero, ‘Yogi’, which will be directed by Subramania Siva, is finally nearing completion of the shooting portion.

The film, which is said to deal with a group of slum dwellers, has Ameer in the lead, with Madhumitha playing the heroine. Shooting for the movie has been stretching for a good two years, with hurdles, financial and otherwise, marring shoot.

Now, all that remains to be canned in the film is the climax portion, which like any other traditional Tamil movie, has the hero bashing up goons. Director Subramania Siva is scouting locations for the same, in and around the city for this.

Earlier, several portions of the shooting were done in the city, including places like Big Bazaar, Vadapalani.

Following this, the film, which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, is said to have a grand audio launch early next month.
